Our handmade Windblown Sun Sculpture seems to capture motion. Handcrafted in Haiti from Recycled Steel Oil Drum, artisan Joseph Jean Peterson created this incredible metal wall hanging featuring a sun face disheveled by the wind.
Our Fair Trade Windblown Sun Sculpture was created in Joseph's workshop named "The St. Charles Bird Workshop" that he opened in 1997 with his mother and older brother. Having apprenticed with Jean Roosevelt Bauchard, his imagery is versatile. “I helped many people to learn this sculpture. My dream is to have a larger workshop and give more people work. I trust in God that my dream will be realized.”
