Kantha Quilted Sari Throws

Each and every one of our Kantha Quilted Sari Throws is a “one-of-a-kind”. Each one is handmade by marginalized Artisans in Calcutta, India from retired Sari’s, the traditional dress of Indian women. This beautiful fabric is re-purposed by using a traditional technique called Kantha, a type of embroidery using a long running stitch to create this beautiful quilt.
Our Kantha Quilted Sari Throws are the epitome of upcyling, preserving the intricate detail and hard work originally put into each piece of fabric so that it can continue to live on and bring beauty to your home.
Use them to splash color on sofas, chairs or beds. Use them as a wrap to keep you warm at outside events. Once you buy one you will want more!
Colors vary; all are beautiful, we will hand select a beautiful throw for you with the majority being the color you select. Handmade by Fair Trade Artisans in India.
