Our stunning hand-blown Phoenician Glass are perfect as a Stemless Wine Glass, Brandy Glass or even a gorgeous Candle Holder. Each one is truly a stunning piece of art. Master artisans in the West Bank crush glass bottles, melt them down and add minerals to the recycled glass while they're re-blowing it, creating magical and one of a kind patterns in each glass. So beautiful, you'll want to display them even when they're not in use. We have also had customers use them as tea light holders, the combination of candlelight and the blues and greens in the glass is very peaceful.
Every handmade Stemless Wine Glass is crafted by Fair Trade artisans in the Palestinian city of Hebron, in the West Bank. Phoenician glass blowing is a particularly difficult style of glass work, reserved for true masters of the craft. This artisan group was started as a family business in 1890, and continues to flourish and expand today, all while abiding by Fair Trade Principles.
